Started with a heap of thick fog this morning from the dock to 15 miles out. Richard and his group came aboard with high hopes and the right attitude. It’s always good to have a group that’s there to enjoy themselves and sees catching fish a bonus, no one should ever charter a boat to put meals on the table, they should go for the experience, time away from the hussle of daily life.
And when the group has the right attitude, the crew feels that and orders up some good fishing, and good fishing we had, not good, excellent!!! First thing in the morning we have a kelp for 13 fish! Yellowfin and Yellowtail. Ok, day made, let’s find some more. Jig strikes and bird schools gave us a total of 36 fish for the day. 23 Yellowfin, 8 Yellowtail, 5 Skipjack. It was an epic day to say the least. Congrats to Karen on her first Yellowfin tuna.
Fish are still here guys, let’s go fishing!!!
