Took Greg and his family out fishing again yesterday. Rough weather all day, some old timers call that sort of weather “Albacore Weather” and now I know what they mean. We had a triple jig strike and 2 baitfish at 11am. All 5 were over 30 pounds. The hand held scale said #35. The El Gato has some built in magic that raises fish like no other boat I have been on. I have read about certain fiberglass boats with diesel engines that have “that” sound, and she has it. We also caught 5 nice Yellowfin tuna and lost a couple more. Now these Albacore could be the sign of a very exciting fall fishing season, or it could just be a random catch. Either way, we gotem, we got 5 and we are freakin stoked!!!!
