Weekend of bottom biting fun.

Monday, September 19th, 2011

Had a nice weekend of fishing. Lots of Sheephead, Sculpin, a few trophy Calico Bass and a 7 Pound Whitefish! Lots of few Yellows as well. Water around the Coronado Islands looks nice, a tad on the cool side, but plenty of fish to keep things interesting.

Seems the weather has been kicking out butts forever! The water temps near shore have dropped, the water’s dirty and fish are not hungry. The offshore waters are still warm, and there is plenty of clean water out there so are hopefull our fall season isa good one. We have a few offshore trips this week and we will be fishing the Make A Wish Tuna Challenge this weekend. Can’t wait!!
