With the warming of the ocean water, the fish are starting to really get active. There are plenty of Yellowtail to be found from Lajolla all the way down the coast as far as we woudl go on a 5-5pm trip. Fish are up eating surface iron as well as live bait. It’s run and gun style fishing on tern bird schools of fish. Recently the Barracuda have really moved in providing fun fishing when the Yellowtail won’t bite. We have a 5-5pm trip this Saturday, and I’ll post the results asap. Attached is a Yellowtail we got last week on a friends boat. Thanks for checkin in.
